The Bash Review

GigMasters (now The Bash) is the one stop source for all of your event service needs. The site combines the efficiency of the web with the personal touch of a private event planner.

For any DJ services, book me here and you can find photography, videography, and photo booths with my other company Fresh New Angle Events, and mention my name when asked.

The company is owned by XO Group, which also owns The Knot, The Bump (shout-out to our Bump commercial - featuring DJ Jax D), The Nest, and How He Asked, These industry-leading brands, top-ranked mobile apps, and #1 bridal magazines provide the most sought-after information to millions of couples and first-time parents everywhere.

I've been using The Bash for almost five years and have quickly seen a small ROI. Most of that business, however, occurred during the beginning of my subscription and has since died off a bit. One thing I appreciate about the UI is the ability to take notes on individual leads and then easily view them in the main lead area with only a mouse-over. This cuts down on clicking and having to open multiple tabs in my browser.

I think the marketplace for vendors has become a bit too saturated, which is why it's been difficult to secure many events through the site. Also, the number of leads coming in has been diminishing. I'm not sure if this has to do with marketing on their end to users, or due to a different reason.

Overall, if you're an entertainer, I recommend trying The Bash to see if it suits your needs. Let me know how it goes, I'm interested in hearing your feedback!
