When it comes to planning your wedding, you’ll want to ensure that all your guests have lots of fun. One surefire way to do that is to set up plenty of wedding games! Depending on your theme and preferences, there are many different wedding games to choose from; for a few ideas to inspire you, check out these fun classics.

1 . Cornhole

Looking for a super fun game to play at your wedding? Cornhole is a real classic. So how exactly do you play? Well, Cornhole is a lawn game where players throw corn kernel bags through a hole in a raised board. If you manage to get the bag inside the hole, you’ll earn yourself 3 points. When the bag lands on top of the board, that player earns themself one point. (The aim of the game is to exceed a score of 21 points).

For a wedding, regulation cornhole is the perfect game; the regulation version involves everyone using the same sized 6“x6” bags of corn. Why not choose a themed cornhole board to make things more exciting? You can get cornhole boards decorated with a variety of artwork, from city themes to beach themes. If you want to do this in the rain, then consider exploring tent rentals.

2. Giant Jenga

Sticking to the classics, Giant Jenga is a great wedding game for all the family. Like the standard sized version, players remove a single block from a 54-block tower. When you remove a block, it’s then placed at the very top of the tower. As the game goes on the tower gets more and more unstable. Ensure that your photographer gets some great action shots when the giant tower eventually falls!

3. Giant Connect 4

The perfect game for a bit of nostalgia, Connect 4 is plenty of fun no matter how old you are. Simply drop your colored disks into the giant board, taking it in turns. The aim of the game is to get four of your colors in a row (whether diagonal, horizontal, or vertical). You can usually pick up these giant boards for a good price; they are perfect to play inside or outside.

4. Space Hopper Racing

Who doesn’t love bouncing around on a space hopper? To make things that little more fun, it’s a great idea to set up races between your guests. Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures, (and remember that this game is best played inside)! You can order colored space hoppers online; you’ll just need some bunting and tape to create a start and finish line.

5. Scavenger Hunt

Setting up a scavenger hunt is one of the best wedding games. You can download wedding scavenger hunt templates online, according to different themes. For instance, your guests might be challenged to collect beach themed objects, magic themed items, or even treasure! Ensure that you award the winning team with a prize to make things that little bit more fun.

There are plenty more wedding games to choose from, or you might even like to get a little creative and make up a few of your own! With the right kind of games you’ll create a memorable wedding.
