Everything To Consider For An Outdoor Wedding
Outdoor weddings are beautiful and incredibly romantic, but these types of weddings come with additional warnings and pitfalls, but if you listen to the following tips, you can be sure you will enjoy your wedding day. Planning an outdoor wedding takes a lot of skill and dedication; it is certainly a rewarding theme but you must take many things into consideration.

1. Plan far in advance, and be mindful of the weather
It is advisable to visit the designated location in the week before your wedding to make sure the lawn is mowed, the soil is cleared, and there are no various obstacles that will disturb your guests. Check the Farmers Almanac for historical data. If there is a chance that your destination will be rainy, you will want to ensure that tents or marquees are in place and that the guests can easily get warm and comfortable.
There is nothing to stop you enjoying a romantic wedding even with a little drizzle, it may even add to the ambience! However, this is important to remember if you are desperate to have your wedding outdoors. When you plan your destination, it is best to scour locations that are suitable for weddings. On the beach, or in the mountains, both are equally as beautiful. You should look at the Top Mountain Wedding Venue in your area for further reading.
2. Let the area size determine guest count
If you are planning a more intimate wedding, the most important thing is to match the background and decide on just how many guests you want. There is no point in inviting a few guests to a big place where they will not feel close to each other and will not experience the desired intimacy. When the area is suitable for the number of guests (especially if it is a wedding taking place outside), it will be easier for guests to know exactly where the boundaries of the place are and feel closer to the other guests. This make for a more pleasant experience to chat and much easier to see exactly who is present at the wedding.
3. Design the wedding with atmosphere in mind
The next thing to pay attention to is the design. When the design matches the nature of the event and the style of the guests - they will feel comfortable, know they have been thought of and it will be more pleasant for them to socialize with each other. If you have an outdoor wedding in a garden, it make sense to continue the theme with outdoor style decor, leaf or floral designs. Perhaps a beach wedding would benefit from a tropical theme. Getting married on a boat? try a nautical theme for your reception on a yacht. There are plenty of options to consider in terms of styling. Use blocks of hay for seating at a farm wedding or create something using the raw and organic materials to match your environment.
During the times of Covid-19, having a wedding outdoors can be a huge benefit and can be easier to plan. Although we are moving back to normality again, it is still something to consider. There are still some that are concerned about people gathering indoors and with those who are still vulnerable. Whatever your thoughts are, you want to make sure people are happy.
And that’s why I love doing what I do.
